About Our Guest

Jamon Jordan is a former teacher and current historian and speaker who lead historical tours around Detroit through his company, the Black Scroll Network History & Tours, LLC. Jamon also serves as president of the Detroit chapter of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), nationally founded by Dr. Carter G. Woodson (the “father” of Black History Month) in 1915.
